The center consists of Department of Phytochemistry,
Department of Natural Products Chemistry, Department
of Analytical Chemistry and Department of Pharmaceutics.
It focuses on:
1. Research on chemical ingredients and active ingredients
of Chinese Materia Medica and natural medicine.
2. Research on structure modification and combination
of natural medicine.
3. Research on analytical method and quality standardization
of Chinese Materia Medica and natural medicine.
4. Research on the analytical method for assaying the
pernicious elements (such as pesticide residues, heavy
metals, aflatoxins etc) existing in Chinese Materia
Medica.
5. Basic research on multi-prescription.
6. Research on Pharmaceutics of Chinese Materia Medica
and natural medicine.
