Research Center for Pharmacology and Toxicology

The center consists of 4 departments, the Department of Pharmacology, Department of Toxicology, Department of Pharmaceutics and Department of molecular Pharmacology. It concentrates on pharmacological, pharmacoknetic research and safe evaluation about new drugs, function food and cosmetics in vivo and in vitro, using the modern science and technology combined with the characteristics of Traditional Chinese medicine. It focuses on:
1. Pharmacological and pharmacoknetic study about Chinese herbal products, natural medicinal plants and fungus on neurology and psychiatry, cardio-brain vessels, endocrine, immunology, gastric-intestine, cancer, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacteria etc,
2. Safe evaluation on new drugs, function food and cosmetics etc.
3. Development of new methodology and technology on pharmacology and toxicology with the specific characters of traditional Chinese medicine.
